It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "WILLIAM LAWRENCE TARR; Born: Nov 23, 1914; Date of Passing: Jul 06, 2009; (Bill - Age 94 and one-half Years Old); Bill was a very proud and brave soldier. He fought his last battle on Monday, July 6, 2009, as he peacefully entered eternal rest; w".ith his youngest granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Lana and Darcy by his side. Bill will be forever cherished by his dear wife Lillian. Bill and Lil recently celebrated an amazing milestone together by commemorating their 70th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2009. Bill will be forever remembered by his daughters and grandchildren; Vivian (Gerry) Harrison, Beverley Krempin and youngest granddaughter/daughter Lana (Darcy) Ochman, grandchildren; Riva Harrison (Chloe Burgess), Raquelle (Dan) Lafond, Kyle Harrison and Britt Krempin. Bill was a proud husband, father and grandfather, and he was so happy to be a great-grandpa to four beautiful great-granddaughters; Avery and Arielle Ochman, and Bridget and Brandy Lafond. Also, Bill loved his special furry friend, Riley the beagle. Bill was a strong and determined man who always worked hard. He was very clever and creative, and he always had an idea of how to fix something! He was proud of his family and his hard work over the years at various occupations, especially of his long career with CN Railway. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre. Our hearts all ache as we will each miss you in our own way. We promise to always honor your love and memory, and we will miss you more than we can ever say. Sleep peacefully Bill/Dad/Grandpa; we love you always.
