It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "ALBERT JOSEPH LEMOINE, BORN: DEC 02, 1921, DATE OF PASSING: JUN 16, 2015; It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Father Albert on June 16, 2015 at the Deer Lodge Centre (DLC). Albert was born on December 2, 1921 in Sandridge, M".B to parents Lumina Fortin and Arthur Lemoine. Albert will be lovingly remembered by daughter Elaine and son David, as well as numerous relatives and friends throughout North America. Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Louise Tetreault, who he married on Christmas Day 1943; his parents; sisters Yvonne, Mederise and Florence; brothers Lucien and Leo. Two of Albert's proudest accomplishments of many, were serving with the RCAF in England during the Second World War as a Lancaster bomber engine mechanic based in Middleton St. George and graduating as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Manitoba, class of 1951. Albert worked for over three decades with Transport Canada finishing his working career with National Defence at the Air Command Headquarters in Winnipeg. Dad loved travelling to the high Arctic on engineering projects but when not working could be found in his workshop creating yet another project and sometimes a mess to Louise's consternation. A plumber he was not. The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to the staff on Tower 5 at the DLC, in particular Nurses Linda, Brenda and Rigel and Healthcare Aid Merna. A celebration of life will be held in the Chapel at the Deer Lodge Centre on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:30 a.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Lemoine Endowment Fund at the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg MB, R2H 2A6, or charity of your choice. It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "LOUISE JEANNE LEMOINE (TETREAULT), BORN: JAN 17, 1922, DATE OF PASSING: FEB 23, 2007; with her family at her side, Louise Jeanne Lemoine, passed away courageously at the age of 85, at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, after a lengthy battle with Al".zheimers. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of more than 63 years, Albert; daughter Elaine (of Winnipeg); son David (of Toronto); and one brother Ferdinand Ferde (of Nanaimo), as well as numerous relatives throughout North America. Louise was predeceased by her father, Ferdinand Tetreault and mother Marie Trudeau; sisters Cecile and Laura. After graduating from St. Vital School, Louise went on to Success Business College. Mom was always keen on trying new activities and things whether it be yoga, creative writing, or health and spiritual trends long before it became commonplace. Louise was an adventurous cook, with a love of reading, bird watching, traveling, and was a prolific seamstress and quilter. Louise was also an eager volunteer for places such as the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature as a guide for school children, a member of the Engineer's Wives Association, the Manitoba Genealogical Society, as well as the St. Paul the Apostle Parish from it's inception. Louise's proudest career accomplishment, was working as a Librarian Assistant in the Reference Department of the St. James Public Library for over thirteen years. She loved being able to help people of all ages find the information they needed to complete their various projects. Albert and Louise's genealogical research quests took them to libraries and archives across the continent, long before the Internet came into vogue. Besides being a decade long member of the Kinsmen Re-Fit Centre, she had a deep love for her family. She loved getting together with family and friends and having evenings filled with laughter, teasing and story telling. The family would like to extend their heart felt appreciation to the staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge, in particular, Sherri Gigliotti, and her colleagues on the second floor who cared for her so compassionately during the final months of her life. There will be a prayer service held for Louise on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, and a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Lemoine Endowment Fund at the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave, Winnipeg, Mb, R2H 2A6, or charity of your choice. We held your hand through the last mile of your life, we wish you well on your journey Louise
