JAMES F. CHORNEY James Chorney, beloved husband of Frances Chorney. James was born in Sand Hills, MB on December 14, 1907 to John and Nellie Chorney. He married Frances in 1939 and lived and farmed in the Tyndall area. Left to mourn his passing, his wife Frances; son Clarence and wife Donna and their children, Mike (Lea and Brandon) and James; son-in-law John Panas and his children, Phil, (Judy, Misty, Logan) and Corey (Mellisan, Gage, Taylor) sister Stella Wasylik; brothers, Mike, Joe and John. James was predeceased by his daughter Jean Panas; his sisters, Carrie Sternat and Mary Mikolash and his brother Anton. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the M.S. Society, 141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 0R3

FRANCES CHORNEY (KWIATKOWSKI) BORN: AUG 25, 1919, DATE OF PASSING: FEB 23, 2011; With great sadness we announce the passing of our mom and grandma. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband James, daughter Jean Panas and grandson Michael Chorney. Left to cherish her memory are son Clarence (Donna), grandchildren James, Lea and her son Brandon Chorney; son-in-law John Panas, grandsons Phil (Judy) and their children, Misty and Logan, Corey (Melissan) and their children Gage, and Taylor; brothers Charlie (Florence), Ray (Susan), sister Joan Hawkes, brothers-in-law Frank Mikolash, Ed Domich, sisters-in-law Sally Kwiatkowski, Stella Wasylik, Stella (Joe), Stella (John) and Adeliene Chorney and many nieces, nephews, friends and good neighbours.
