It was described specifically or transcribed by them as "LIONEL JOSEPH DONDO, DATE OF PASSING: MAR 22, 2002; Peacefully, on March 22, 2002 at Concordia Hospital, Lionel Dondo passed away at the age of 65 years. Lionel endured the struggle of his lengthy illness and when a cure was not to be had, he surre".ndered his life to the Divine with the innocence and trust of a man who has suffered enough. Lionel laisse dans la peine ses deux fils bien-aimes Alain et epouse Gina et Denis ainsi que deux petits-enfants Caleb et Breanne. He will also be lovingly remembered by his special friend Julie Welechenko. Il laisse aussi trois freres, Andre (Clothilde), Germain, Roland (Alice) trois soeurs, Gabrielle Lalonde, Yvette (Henri) Gauthier, Lucette Jobin et la mere de ses enfants, Laurette, ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nieces. Il fut precede dans la tombe par ses parents, Yves et Therese, une soeur Marie-Ange et un frere Marcel, une belle-soeur, Julianna et deux beaux-freres, Albert Jobin et Louis Lalonde. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to all of Lionels neighbours and friends at Cosmo Place who so willingly assisted him throughout his illness. We are also most thankful and appreciative to Dr. Harris, Dr. Grace and the staff at Concordia Hospital, especially the dedicated oncology personnel who got to know Lionel well and who provided such caring and understanding attention. "Tu as toujours ete tellement fier de nous, cher Papa. Nos coeurs sont pleins de tendresse et damour envers toi. Cest a nous maintenant detre fiers, De toi et de ton cheminement."

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Léo et Hélène Goulet, Lionel Dondo (époux) et Reynald Deslauriers (conjoint), ainsi qu'un beau-frère, Adrien Jubinville. Née à Saint-Claude (Manitoba), et très bonne cuisinière, on disait toujours qu'elle faisait le meilleur pain et les meilleures tartes! Dès son arrivée à l'Actionmarguerite, on la connaissait pour sa gentillesse, son beau sourire et son petit signe de main qu'elle envoyait à tout le monde. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at la Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface, with Father Marcel Carrière officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Actionmarguerite (Saint-Boniface), 185 rue Despins, Winnipeg (Manitoba) R2H 2B3.
