He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #43 and a lifelong member of the Native Sons. He spent 40 happy summers at Wildewood Park in Winnipeg Beach where he enjoyed the company of family and many friends, including his dear friends Gary and Carol Ann Hainsworth. A mister fix-it, Wilf loved children and had a wonderful sense of humour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilf's memory can be made to Kidsport Manitoba. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the staff on 5E at St. Boniface General Hospital for the kindness and care shown to Wilf.
