      ANNETTE GROSSMAN (ROY), BORN: MAR 04, 1916, DATE OF PASSING: MAR 09, 2008; At peace, Annette passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008. Annette was born in Lorette, MB on March 4, 1916. She was predeceased by her husband Adolph in 1961. She is survived by her five children: Claudette Johnson, Roseline Marshall (Jim), Phillip (Monique), Marie-Paule Lacasse (Paul) and Joanne Dumaine (Raymond). She will be missed by her 11 grandchildren: Michelle and Marc; Peter, Lynne and Annette; Denise and Jeffrey; Serge and Réjean; Jaclyn and Renald; her 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews. Mom was a survivor, a devoted mother, an accomplished seamstress and a wonderful cook. Despite the long hours and arduous work on the farm, Mom loved the country. She moved to St. Boniface in 1970 and enjoyed her 12 years working for Great West Life. She lived her last four years at Foyer Valade where she was cared for with compassion and love. At her request cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road in Windsor Park. Interment to follow at Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Cemetery, Lorette, MB. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Les Amis de Valade , 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. DESJARDINS in care of arrangements
