Peacefully, on Monday, September 18, 2000 at the Tache Nursing Centre, Mrs. Blanche Gaudreau passed away, at the age of 90 years. She was born on October 13, 1909. Blanche was predeceased by her husband Albert (1955), her son Paulma (1982), her father Joachim (1961), her mother Cordelia Maheu (1964), one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter, brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her longtime friend Antonio "Tony" Caron; her two sons, Leo and Leonard (Terry) and daughter Juliette Tessier (Rene) eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nursing staff and care givers at the Tache Centre, 2ABC and 5ABC. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Precieux Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St., with Rev. Fr. Marcel Chaput presiding.
