Victoria was born in Melrose, MB on February 7, 1909, the daughter of Andrzej and Antonia Wazny. Victoria had 11 brothers and sisters and was the last surviving member. Victoria was predeceased by her husband Walter Wazny in 1996, her son Robert Wazny in 1993, and her daughter Jane Wazny in December 2004. She leaves to mourn, her daughter Evelyn (Leon) Prucyk of Libau; her son Eric (Barbara) Wazny; daughter-in-law Myrna Wazny; granddaughter Barbara (James) Bardsley of Neepawa; grandson Brian (Catharine) Prucyk of Milwaukee; granddaughter Karen Wazny; granddaughter Janice (Wazny) Gehman; also great-grandsons, Mark, Jonathon, Geordan Bardsley, and Andrew Prucyk. Mom and Dad were married in 1931 and settled in Oak Hammock, MB in 1934, where they lived until 1995 before moving to Selkirk, MB. There were hard times and hard work but being around Mom always seemed to make things better. Mom was a genuinely kind, generous, nice, good person and was well liked by anyone who came in contact with her. She enjoyed her one and a half years at Fred Douglas Lodge and always referred to it as her home. Victoria's family would like to thank the staff of Oak Section at Fred Douglas Lodge for the excellent personal and loving care given to our mother. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements
