Marcel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Georgette (née Rey), children Evelyn (Curtis), Gerry (Laurie), Norbert (Catherine) and Michele (Greg), grandkids Jason (Jennifer), Julie (Cleve), Joan (Rick), Candis (Ryan), Sara (Josh) Marc, Kadi, Andi, Dylan, Tyler and great grandson Riley. Also left to mourn are Marcel’s siblings Marie-Ange, Gabe, Hubert, Fernand, Lorraine, Henri and Louie, and son-in-law Barry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marcel was predeceased by his daughter Liliane and brothers Raymond, Andy and John. A family service will be held at St. Emile’s Church 556 St. Anne’s Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
