      Marcel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Georgette (née Rey), children Evelyn (Curtis), Gerry (Laurie), Norbert (Catherine) and Michele (Greg), grandkids Jason (Jennifer), Julie (Cleve), Joan (Rick), Candis (Ryan), Sara (Josh) Marc, Kadi, Andi, Dylan, Tyler and great grandson Riley. Also left to mourn are Marcel’s siblings Marie-Ange, Gabe, Hubert, Fernand, Lorraine, Henri and Louie, and son-in-law Barry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

      Marcel was predeceased by his daughter Liliane and brothers Raymond, Andy and John.

      A family service will be held at St. Emile’s Church 556 St. Anne’s Road in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 1:30 p.m.

      In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

      The family would like to thank Foyer Valade for all the care and support.

Left to mourn are her children, Eveline (Curtis), Gerry (Laurie), Norbert (Catherine), Michele (Greg) and son-in-law Barry; grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer), Julie, Joan (Rick), Candis (Ryan), Sara (Josh), Marc, Kadi, Andi, Dylan and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Riley, Liliane, Livia, and Zachary. Also her siblings, Bernadette, Peggy, Jeanne, Pete, Rose and George as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank St. Boniface Emergency Staff, 5B staff and Home Care. A special thanks to her good friend Therese Lesage. A celebration of life will be held at Thomson In The Park, 1291 McGillivary Blvd., on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
