Gently, peacefully, on January 22, 2002, Rose passed into the care of God.
Born in Souris, MB, on January 13, 1915, she moved the same year to Napinka, MB, where she lived and completed high school. In 1935, Winnipeg became her life-long home where she met and married her husband, George Manchulenko, with whom she shared life for 43 and one half years.
Rose was a very caring person and had many kind friends. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter Queen Winnipeg #1 and also Althea Shrine #22. She was very active in volunteer work and was a devoted member of the Winnipeg Singing Seniors. Work experience included 22 years with Eatons and seven years at St. Pauls High School.
She is survived by her three children, Karren Palmer Terry (Richard), Pat Germscheid (Larry), and Margaret Graham (Donna Barlow) seven grandchildren, Perry Palmer (Cathie), Jill Palmer, Dawn Germscheid, Barret Germscheid (Julie) all of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, BC, and Christy Camp (Philip) of Edinburgh Scotland, Josh Graham of Vancouver and Nathan Graham of Mission BC; one great-grandchild Bradly Palmer of North Vancouver, BC.
Also surviving is Roses brother Frederick Waterman (Helen) of Mississauga, ON, and nephew Wayne Ellis (Jan) and family of Calgary; and many nieces and nephews on her husbands side.
Rose was predeceased by her parents, Dora and Onofrey Watamaniuk; husband George in 1984; sister Dora Ellis and nephew John Ellis.
Many thanks are in order to all who shared in helping her in the latter part of her life. She has been very grateful for your kindness and help.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. till service time. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
