VICTORINE DEQUIER (OLIVIERO); Victorine Dequier
(nee Oliviero)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Tuesday August 2, 2005 at the St. Claude Pavilion, at the age of 87 years.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her children: Marcel (Dorothée), Roland (Yvonne), Angèle (Maurice Rouire), Odile (Bryan Muzyka), Claudette Campbell, Norbert (Sandra), Rose-Marie (Jack Coakes); as well as 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Antoine in 1983; her parents Joseph Oliviero and Marie Le Garff; son-in-law Roy Campbell; great-grandson Caleb Dequier; by her brothers: André, Marcel, Jean and Charles.
Mom enriched the lives of her family with her strong work ethics and family values. Her strong belief in God throughout her life made her a special person.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood on Saturday August 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by viewing at 9:30 a.m. with Father Célestin Malengu Mubaya and Father Antoine Vo Van Hoa officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at the Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Claude HandiVan or the St. Claude Palliative Care.
Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Dr. Viens and the wonderful staff at the St. Claude Pavilion for their excellent care and compassion they gave our mother.
