She leaves behind her loving children, Larry (Irene) and Wayne (Bev); grandchildren, Mia (Jim), Candace (Charles), Kyle (Melissa), and Wesley (Josephine); great-grandchildren, Brett and Garrett, Rowan and Jasper. She also leaves behind her siblings, Celine Robertson, Simone Gosselin, Bertille (Lucien) Croteau, Robert (Sharon) Desrosiers, and Guy (Claire) Desrosiers; and sister-in-law Edith Desrosiers.

Jeanne was born in St. Malo, Manitoba to Emilien and Ernestine Desrosiers. She stayed in St. Malo until she married her loving husband Leslie Lipischak in 1951, to whom she was married for 44 years. Jeanne and Leslie raised their two sons, Larry and Wayne in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jeanne loved music which she shared with her whole family. She played in multiple bands for various events such as weddings and banquets. Jeanne was an active participant in her church community singing in the church choir and helping with Mass preparations. After their sons left home, Jeanne and Leslie moved to St. Adolphe where she worked alongside friends at the “Club Amicale” preparing meals and entertaining patrons with the piano while they ate their meal. Jeanne was like built-in entertainment; wherever she went she played for the people! Jeanne enjoyed spending time outdoors at her cottage, where she took pride in caring for a variety of flowers, especially her favourite - roses.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church. An Internment of her cremated remains will follow in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Action Marguerite in St. Boniface for their superb compassion and care during her stay there.
