| 601 | 20180504: (Rick Dondo) I confirmed Ron is, indeed, the same person I have worked with for a few years now on the Miles Macdonell Collegiate Alumni Association. He gre up in the Morse Place neighbourhood and has childhood memories of the Balamutowski's in nearby East Elmwood. | Storozuk, Ronald "Ron" (I402002586018)
| 602 | 20180510: May have died young, before 1905, since there are no other records of her and there is another Maria in the family born in that year. In addition, at this time, 3 member connections show no date of death or ANY other information for this child . | Czop, Maria "Marie" "Marion" (I402003958145)
| 603 | 20180515: Per the french records for sailors, this man disappeared in the wreck of a small ship in 1907... My use of any material related to that man, apparently born in 1865 and of parents Pierre and Clementine, is at risk as is the marriage record in 1844 to another woman... of course, that may be legitimate and I may have other mistakes to correct... | Philippe, Joseph Marie (I400015147896)
| 604 | 20180529: Appears on the ship's passenger list (the SS Vancouver. arriving in Halifax on 19050402) age 4, but is not seen in any further family records | Dacquay, Joseph Marie (I402009065894)
| 605 | 20180610: Received a query from her asking how we are related. In fact, it is via John Smiley. | Batulla, Penelope "Penny" (I402011747041)
| 606 | 20180611: Based on the fact she is known to be a child of Cassian and Anastasia (see notes from Lynn Harrison attached to Cassian) and the fact she fails to appear in any census or any other records after 1901, she is assumed to have died prior to the 1906 census. | Shmigelski, Michalina (I402011885825)
| 607 | 20180819: Mentioned in an obituary as a brother to Angela Nellie Schnerch https://passages.winnipegfreepress.com/passage-details/id-48408/SCHNERCH_ANGELA 20181210: Possibly buried in Brookside Cemetery https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/111408237/harry-karbowski | Karbowski "Karbovski", Harry (I402007786948)
| 608 | 20180822: He contacted me today to inquire about some family rerlationships via the Lentowicz / Dancho part of my tree. I added a few people so I can now place him on it. His Ancestry profile s here: https://www.ancestry.com/connect/profile/011d5902-0002-0000-0000-000000000000 | Kean, Arthur (I402035437490)
| 609 | 20180918: Born in late April, 1906, just DAYS after her mother arrived in Canada. Her nominal father, Guillaume, had left France in or before October, 1904. There is a problem with these "facts"... | Dondo, Sr Marie Bernadette of the Immaculate Conception Marie "Céline" (I400015138691)
| 610 | 20181211: Found his birth record, but I find no mention of him in any of the subsequent censuses... Neither is there any obvious match in any available death records. HOWEVER!!! Michel "Michael", who DOES appear in many family documents after this date, is listed as having been born this day... Did Etienne and Anne-Marie change their minds between the civil registration and the baptism? A small mystery. | Durand, Joseph Nicolas (I402060857066)
| 611 | 20181211: See notes made this day for his "brother" Joseph Nicolas. These two records MAY be about the same person! | Durand, Michel "Michael" (I400082866989)
| 612 | 20181213: Brenda Symynyshen Close informed me of her sudden passing today | Penner, Myrna Joyce (I402061198150)
| 613 | 20181214 From Rae McKenna on this date:"The Ksiazyk family settled in the the Matlock area. They were all sisters and brothers. Francis Ksiazyk was my great grandmother’s sister. As was Agnes Husluk and Eva Ksiazyk. Anthony Ksionzek was one of her brothers. She had another brother who settled in Chicago and a sister that stayed in Boryczwoka, although her children ended up in the same area. My great grandmother was Magdalena Rozalia Ksiazyk. She married Gabriel Paluch. They had a family that stayed in the area except for my Mom’s uncle Frank who is also in Chicago. My grandmother was christened Waleria but went by Violet. She married Mike Hawryluk. They had three children and lived in Winnipeg Beach. My mother was one of them. She is now 93. She married Roy King while he was stationed in Gimli during the war. That is my family from that area. Rae" | Książyk, Franciszka "Francis" (I402052442322)
| 614 | 20181215: Working on the premise my reading of a headstone observed in All Saints Cemetery relates to the child depicted in a family portrait and other information gleaned from Anna-Maria Watowich-Weston | Gay "Gayewski", Walter Peter (I402062036031)
| 615 | 20181217: Anna-Maria Watowich-Weston confirmed family tales that this girl / woman was, indeed, a deaf mute. | Gayski, Anne "Annie" "Anna" (I402062036093)
| 616 | 20181222: His name on the 1935 Voter's List for Springfield Riding in Winnipeg indocates he had most likely undergone a name change prior to that date from Gayowski to Gay. THis is roughly in accord with commentary by Vera Zarowski Watowich associated with the Joseph and Mary Gayowski-Gay family photo from 1910 | Gay "Gayewski", Joseph John "Joe" (I402062036055)
| 617 | 20181222: Per commentary by Vera Zarowski Watowich associated with the Joseph and Mary Gayowski-Gay family photo from 1910: The Joseph Gayowski family underwent a name change to Gay some time in the 1930's. At that time, the children would have been adults and would have made their own choices, so the change undertaken by the parents would have been limited to Joseph and Mary. The children would have made their own decisions and that is apparent in following the records. | Szewczuk, Maria "Mary" (I402039073407)
| 618 | 20181222: Would have undergone a name cahnge in the 1930's to "Gay"; Per commentary by Vera Zarowski Watowich associated with the Joseph and Mary Gayowski-Gay family photo from 1910; HIs wife would have been affected, but his adult children would have undergone any such change independently and that is already reflected in the records I am finding, including the Voter's list of 1935. | Gayewski "Gay", John (I402062035484)
| 619 | 20190115: Referenced (with her husband Sid) in an email from Bernice Westendorff-Rebiffe) | Smith, Eileen (possibly adopted) (I402069679100)

| 625 | 20190307: Raymond was able to find family member who recalled this child who died in infancy. He is buried in the old RC cemetery in St Claude. Details beyond that are still unavailable. 20190306: In discussion with Raymond Philippe today, we determined this brother to his grandfather is a family mystery. The birth record makes it clear this is not Joseph, but there is no death record found yet that matches up... He does NOT appear on the 1911 census... Died or adopted out... no answers at this time... | Philippe, Louis-Marie (I400016062245)

| 627 | 20190319: Dark Tuesday; Much information has been removed from this tree as a result of attitudes and direction expressed by her family. 20171208: From information in a document supplied by Eleanor Smiley Chopp Eleanore was born in Brooklands, Manitoba (part of Winnipeg) on April 9, 1933, weighing 8 pounds. It was around noon on Palm Sunday. The delivery took place at home, 1901 Elgin Avenue, with Dr. McTavish in attendance. Baptism took place at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave. In 1928 it was called Greek Catholic Ukrainian Catholic of St. Mary's of Protection (Ukrainian Catholic St. Prokowa). Eleanore lived part of her life in the North End and then the Fort Rouge area. She attended Gladstone, Laverendrye, Earl Grey (Jr. High) and Kelvin High School. |
| 631 | 20190405: Per Carmen, Anna, her grandmother, was born as the illegitimate daughter of someone in a palace in Prague. Her mother, Josefina, was a domestic in service to someone of sufficient rank... Anna's birth records are quite clear that she was illegitimate and there is no mention of a father. | Hejll-Unknown, TBD Male (I402093922844)
| 632 | 20190611: As a result of processing the obituary notice for Marie-Josephe Philippe, I have learned from Raymond Philippe) Madeleine had a second relationship following the death of "John" Philippe. It was a Habeck, but her obituary bears no mention of one... The most likely candidate seems to be A Robert, born in about 1932 and died on 1996/12/10 per his obituary in the WFP: https://archives.winnipegfreepress.com/winnipeg-free-press/1996-12-12/page-42/ Buried in the St Claude area... his wife Simone, who dies in 1976 died and was also buried there. https://archives.winnipegfreepress.com/winnipeg-free-press/1976-06-17/page-45/ More to learn... | Dion, Madeleine M (I400016065732)

| 635 | 20190629: From Brenda (Symynyshen) Close via message: "I have been to William “Bill” Tomko’s grave. Years ago with auntie Olga. I remember when he got killed. He was at our house and my mom wanted him to stay the night. Bad winter driving conditions. My parent’s didn’t allow us kids to attend the funeral. Apparently the whole town turned out." | Tomko "Tomkow", William James "Bill" (I400081405691)
| 636 | 20190716: After my edit to her FaG memorial was rejected, I chose to align my records on her with those of other researchers, most importantly, with members of the Philippe family. While I had her as "Marie Jeanne", a direct reflection of the passenger manifest for their arrival, and "Marguerite", attribution less certain right now, others have her as "Marie-Anne". I had her as a "Le Hegarat". Others show her as a "Le Maguet" and some have recorded her parents. | Le Maguet, Marie-Anne Jeanne (I402005980440)
| 637 | 20190727: Assumed location based on known series of events, especially subsequent entry in the USA on April 26 of same year to join husband who was with the US Navy | Family: Von Sien, Edward Craig "Ed" / Lasiewicz "Lasievich" "Lesewick" "Savage", Tekla "Elaine" "Eileen" (F7520)
| 638 | 20190728: I am now VERY uncertain of the idea she underwent a name change. There is evidence of an Elaine Savage from Winnipeg who had a mother Ann. This Elaine would have been about 5 years younger... There is also evidence of a James Savage who is buried in Washington state... Per an exchange with Chloe of Find a Grave who sponsors the memorial to Ed von Sien: "Yes, I knew Elaine. She was a very sweet lady. She was married to my cousin, Ed Von Sien and my parents and I visited them often in LaJolla, CA. I never knew her maiden name was Lasiewicz / Lesewick. Interesting that she changed it to Savage. You don't think that could have been the last name of a first husband? (Just a thought) I have often thought about Elaine, and wondered what happened to her and where she was buried. Once Edward died in 1997, and her sister-in-law, Olive (Von Sien) Larson (who she was very close to) passed away in 2004 and cousin, Lydia Beese Beekman died in 1991, my impression is that she went to live with or near family. Good luck in your search! Chloe (related through the Von Sien family)" | Lasiewicz "Lasievich" "Lesewick" "Savage", Tekla "Elaine" "Eileen" (I402119644304)

| 640 | 20190810: Mentioned on the manifest of the SS Vancouver, as arriving on April 2, 1905, in Halifax, NS, from Liverpool, England among 63 members of the following families, nearly all from Guern or nearby villages, all destined for St Claude: Cloaree, Corbeil, Couronne, Dacquay, Dondo, David, Gloux, Guigneno, Jute, Kervegant, Le Bris, Le Brun, Le Carre, Le Devehet / Le Devehat, Le Franc, Le Francheur, Le Gourrince, Le Mial, Le Pape, Maurre, Puybasset, Philippe, Phillipot, Rebiffe, Zegouzo | Guigueno, Marie Josephe (I402122897859)

| 643 | 20190830: From Rae (King) McKenna via Ancestry message: On their ship’s passage it says they were from Kocuibińczyki, Husiatyn, Ternopil, Ukraine. I have found Anna but not Stefan Bisyk In Kocuibińczyki, Husiatyn, Ternopil, Anna Migas 28 August 1877 28 August 1877 House Number 19 Daughter of Joannes Ivan or Iwan Migas Son of Wasyl and Anna Maxymczuk Mother Tekla daughter of Teodori Depuluk and Anna Moroz https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSM8-S77K-K?i=580&cat=1050748 | Migas, Anastasia "Nastasia" "Anna" "Annie" (I400160067963)

| 645 | 20190928: Found the family unit in the 1926 Census... but the page is NOT indexed and not found in searches. They are listed as "Grafchuk" at the expected address at 1242 Selkirk... The children's ages are slightly problematic, especially Violet's who would appear to be 2 years old in June of that year... http://central.bac-lac.gc.ca/.item/?app=census1926&op=img&id=e011229878 | Refchuk "Refczuk" "Refezuk", Michael "Mike" (I402007617098)
