Abandoned Manitoba 3: Forgotten Cemeteries
Abandoned cemeteries exist all over Manitoba. In this video, we find a pioneer cemetery near Rapid City with landowner Scott Moore, an Indigenous cemetery beside a busy highway near Portage la Prairie, and a Mennonite family burial site far out in a farm field. We conclude by discussing what should be done to ensure that all such places are respected and available for people to visit at any time of year.
