As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Being born in St. Francis Xavier and raised on the farm, Victorine knew the value of hard work. At the age of 20 she moved to Winnipeg where she worked full time during the day and put herself through night school. Upon graduation she worked her way up to be the top underwriter for the McFadyen Family Insurance (Lloyds of London) business and was employed by the family for 35 years. She married Fernand in Cadillac, SK in 1939 and they happily enjoyed 36 years together. She loved playing cards, was a wonderful storyteller and was known for her knitting skills. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 5, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital 3rd Floor S. and special thanks to Dr. George. Flowers gratefully declined donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
