Rosemary was born on January 20, 1938 in Woolwich, London to Ivy and Albert Price. She immigrated to Canada in the mid 1960s where she trained to be a court reporter. She served the Manitoba Court system in that capacity until the early 2000s. On August 16, 1974, Rosemary married her late husband Fredrick Iwasienko and together for 26 years they shared the love of jazz, family and political banter.
In England, Rosemary is survived by her brothers: David Price (and his wife Maureen) and John McCue, her nieces and nephews: Katy, Emma, Matthew, Alex, Marcus and their families. In Canada, she will be missed by her sister-in-law Irene Iwasienko, and her husband’s nieces and nephews: Joanne, Jacquie, Valerie, Michael, Chris, Darcy, Barb and their families. She will be remembered on both sides of the pond, for her charm, wit and delightful sense of humor. A service, date TBA, will be held in the spring.
