Normand "Norm" Lambert
21 May, 1944 – 4 April, 2023
IN THE CARE OF Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery
Wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.
It is with sadness that we announce that Normand Joseph (Norm) Lambert, aged 78 years, passed peacefully at his home in Winnipeg on April 4, 2023.
Norm was raised in St. Claude, Manitoba with his brother and three sisters by his farmer parents, Joseph and Marie Lambert.
Norm led quite a colourful life which continued after the birth of his three children. He is survived by his son Norman “Bradley”, and daughters Joette and Suzanne. They, along with their spouses and Norm’s three grandchildren Amy, Evan, and Georgia, his brother Gerald Lafreniere, sisters Sr. Rose Marie (Rosette), Odile Arbez, and Alice Arnal and their families, will all fondly remember him.
Norm’s main career in automotive sales and sales management led him to live in many places across Canada. He also enjoyed travelling across North America, Mexico, and Cuba.
For large parts of his life he was a very lively and often hilarious character, other times not. He faced many difficult obstacles in his life, but also celebrated many successes. A fighter and survivor he was. This unforgettable person in our lives, lived his life according only to him with no apologies, and man, could he ever make you laugh! He often stirred different emotions in the people he loved, for better or worse. Norm is loved and he will be missed.
As he requested no formal service, we ask that you all share a favourite memory and celebrate his life by raising a glass, sharing a story, or sharing a photo.
